Aidan James McHugh is an illustrator, animator, and digital designer. As an illustrator, his primary focus is character design and character animation. His primary discipline is 2D hand-drawn digital animation. He has experience and education in 3D character modelling and animation, video and audio editing, compositing, and layout design.
Bachelor of Arts in Digital Design
From 2019 until 2023, Aidan attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Design. He studied in the courses offered under the Entertainment track.
Class of 2019 Graduate
From 2015 to 2019, Aidan attended the magnet school Bergen County Technical High School, going to the Teterboro campus. He studied fundamental Graphic Arts including figure drawing, logo and layout design, and artistic reviews.
Internship
During his tenure at BCTHS, Aidan was an intern for the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce from October 2018 to May 2019. At the time, they were located at The Meadows Complex at 301 NJ-17, Rutherford NJ.
Community Service and Employee
From 2016 until its closure in February 2023, Aidan was involved with Center Cinemas, a movie theater in the William Carlos Williams Center in Rutherford NJ. He was an employee as well as a volunteer in refurbishment efforts.
